Yksinkertaisimmillaan lämpöjoogatunnilla on vain yksi tehtävä: saada ihmiset kuuntelemaan omaa kehoaan. Kuulostaa helpolta? Niin minäkin ajattelin. Totuus on kuitenkin se, että fyysinen suorittaminen on meille nykyihmisille paljon helpompaa kuin henkinen pysähtyminen. Rehkiminen, veren maku ja maitohapot ovat ikään kuin tae siitä, että olemme ansainneet vähintäänkin sen papukaijamerkin. Kuka sitä nyt pelkästä hengittelystä itseään kiittää? Rauhoittuminen on käynyt yhä hankalammaksi. Työasiat tahtovat pyöriä mielessä nukkumaan mennessä ja joskus keskellä yötäkin. Kotisohvalle lysähtäessä mielessä ovat ne kymmenet kotityöt, jotka ainakin pitäisi suorittaa alta pois ennen kuin on lepohetkensä ansainnut. Teknopalatsin mind studiossa rauhoittuminen on tehty helpommaksi. Lempeä musiikki, tunnelmallinen valaistus ja ohjaajan komento tyhjentää pää kaikesta ylimääräisestä auttavat alkuun. Loppu on sitten itsestä kiinni. Silmien kääntäminen sisäänpäin onnistuu sinnikkäällä harjoittelulla. Lämpöjooga on muuten ihana laji.
